Since opening its doors in 1985, Rimon has stood as a beacon of global musical innovation and Israeli culture. Its founders—who all studied in the United States—were deeply influenced by the rich American musical heritage, as well as music from North Africa, Europe, and across the Middle East. Fusing the American and Israeli sound (and the shared oral traditions from both) formed the foundation of Rimon’s distinctive approach to music education. This blend mirrors the diversity of Israeli society. Rimon adopts a global musical identity that draws from many wells.  Rimon is a vibrant cultural melting pot, where music from every corner of the world is explored, celebrated, and transformed. Each year, Rimon hosts more than 800 students from Israel and around the world, and remains an incubator for creativity, collaboration, and new paradigms.

Rimon is proud to be the first Global Partner through its formal articulation agreement with Berklee, one of the world’s premier music colleges. For over three decades and running, Rimon students can qualify to begin their studies at Rimon and complete their degrees at Berklee’s main campus in Boston, Massachusetts. Other international students choose to come to Rimon for just one year, completing their studies in English (which is offered for first-year curriculum). Others – Olim, for example – may elect to remain in Israel and complete a full Rimon program. There are many options.
